Evidence-first venture intelligence
Intelligence your investment committee can actually check.
Venture Track monitors your portfolio and pipeline across news, policy, filings and analyst coverage, then turns those signals into analysis that cites them, and every citation opens the source it came from.

Proposed rule would require disclosure of automated underwriting factors
Draft guidance sets a 90-day comment window and would extend adverse-action notice requirements to model-derived factors.
Extends disclosure duties to lenders that underwrite with proprietary models. Compliance cost is bounded; the disclosure requirement is the material change.
ECHO-4488 is the provenance ID. A claim that cites this signal carries it, and it resolves to the stored source. Illustrative data, fictional companies.
The film · 72 seconds
From a signal anywhere to a citation in your memo.
Seventy-two seconds inside the mark: what Echo watches, what it keeps, and how it reaches you as evidence you can open.
A silent 72-second animation. The Venture Track mark opens into six lanes of incoming signals: global news, translated international press, analyst ratings, policy, social and SEC filings. Echo, at the turn of the lanes, scores each signal for novelty, impact, source trust and sentiment against your portfolio and keeps only what moved; what comes back carries a provenance ID. The lanes then become a page: funding evidence from SEC Form D filings and the press, a memo with a citation on every line, an act-now alert with a daily digest, and a day from the morning digest to the investment committee.

01 — The problem
Every research tool now writes confident paragraphs. That’s the problem.
Generative tools will produce a market sizing, a competitive set and a risk summary for any company you name. They do it in seconds, and they sound authoritative whether or not the underlying facts exist.
That is fine for a first pass. It is not fine when the output goes into a memo that moves money, because the work of checking falls back on the analyst — and checking an unsourced claim takes longer than finding it yourself.
Venture Track works the other way around: evidence first, then analysis.
A generic research assistant
0 sourcesThe embedded-underwriting market is growing quickly, with several well-funded entrants and a favourable regulatory outlook. Incumbents are expected to consolidate over the next 18 months.
Three claims. Nothing to open. The analyst re-does the work.

Three claims. Three IDs. Each opens the source it came from.
02 — Provenance
No citation without verification.
That rule is enforced in code, not left to a prompt. Before an analysis is saved, every citation is matched against the evidence we hold, and one that matches nothing is removed rather than shown as a link that leads nowhere.
Memo excerpt — Vantage Loom, Series B
click a citation
Category funding accelerated through the last two quarters, with four venture-backed entrants raising a combined $180M. The regulatory picture is unsettled: proposed disclosure requirements for model-derived underwriting factors entered a 90-day comment window. The nearest private competitor has filed a Form D reporting $22.0M sold of a $30.0M offering.
Resolved source
Vantage Loom closes $34M Series B; three category peers raise in same window
Round led by Ardent Partners at a reported $210M post-money. Coverage lists three concurrent raises in embedded underwriting totalling a further $146M.

03 — Coverage
five source classes, across 12 countries.
Monitored continuously and scored for salience against your book, so what surfaces is what moved — not everything that mentioned a portfolio company by name.
News
Global press and trade media, including non-English editions translated from seven languages, resolved to the canonical publisher URL.
Policy
Regulatory dockets, federal register notices and grant awards.
Analyst Rating
Coverage changes on the public companies you track.
Social
Practitioner and developer discussion, weighted low by default.
SEC Filing
EDGAR filings, Form D above all, each linked to the filing itself, which does not change once filed.
What the salience score is made of
Not one opaque number. Each signal is scored on three axes, and the components travel with it so you can see why something ranked where it did.
Novelty
Whether this is genuinely new or a restatement of something already in the corpus, measured semantically rather than by headline match.
Impact
The weight of the entities and markets involved — a rule touching two holdings scores differently from one touching none.
Source trust
Publisher quality from a tiered whitelist. A premium outlet and an aggregator do not carry the same weight.
Sentiment, beside the score
Each signal also carries its sentiment toward the company it concerns, judged on what the development means for that company’s investors rather than on the writer’s tone. It is reported next to salience, not blended into it: a layoff and a large round can matter equally and cut in opposite directions. Clearly negative news about a holding reaches the Risk Radar even when no distress keyword fires, and a signal that names no company is left unscored rather than called neutral.
Before scoring, the same story across twenty outlets is collapsed to one signal and resolved to the company it concerns — so a busy news day does not read as twenty separate events.
Coverage follows what you track.
A watchlist is not only a filter. The terms you put in one become targeted queries the ingestion layer runs on a schedule, so tracking a company or a thesis actively pulls more sourcing toward it.
Coverage of a thin area gets denser because someone is watching it, not because we guessed the category was interesting. A quiet corner of your book is an instruction, and the corpus reshapes around the theses our customers are actually underwriting.

05 — Capabilities
More than a signal feed.
Monitoring is the engine. The rest of the workspace is where diligence, analysis and the record of a company actually live.
Discover and search
⌘K searches your companies and the signal feed at once. Discover finds any company, checks it is the right one, and adds it to a portfolio, so the record starts clean.
Portfolio management
Group companies by fund, vintage or thesis. Each portfolio keeps its own company list and its own alert stream.
Watchlists
Track a company, an industry or a thesis. Start from a recommended set of filters that shows what it currently returns, or build your own — and what you track steers what gets sourced.
Market analysis
Run a full analysis on any company: market sizing, competitive landscape, five forces, unit economics, thesis and exit routes. Prints as a report.
Investors and board seats
Who backs whom, from SEC filings: each investment firm’s funds, the partners filed as directors on a company’s Form D, and the firms on the same boards. A seat is evidence of an investment, not a record of one.
Fund formation
Which venture funds are raising and how much they have sold, from Form D, with the filing history behind every figure.
Document upload
Attach pitch decks, financials and diligence material to a company. Stored against the record and available to analysis and chat.
AI chat
Ask about the whole book or one company, in plain language. Answers draw on that company’s documents, founder screening, signals and analysis, and cite the signals they use. Each person’s conversations are kept with the company they are about.
One page per company
Overview, your position, incoming intelligence and the analysis, in four tabs, with documents and chat history alongside. The diligence brief prints as a PDF, and one Export puts every list on the page in an Excel workbook.

Signals start flowing
Watchlists monitor each company across every source continuously, and the terms you track become targeted queries the ingestion layer runs — so coverage of your book gets denser over time. Salience scoring decides what reaches you.
Evidence accumulates
High-salience signals are verified and stored with provenance IDs, building a citable record for each company over time.
You get told when it matters
Act-now alerts in real time; everything else batched into a digest on your schedule. Analysis on demand, drawing on evidence already collected.
07 — Use cases
What teams use it for
- Diligence that holds up
- Build the evidence base for an investment memo from signals already collected, each one citable.
- Portfolio monitoring
- Know about the down round, the key departure, the regulatory action before the founder’s update email.
- Risk radar
- A standing view of which holdings are trending the wrong way, and on what evidence.
- IC preparation
- Walk into the meeting able to open the source behind every cited figure.
- Through the liquidity event
- Companies that IPO stay on the platform and keep being monitored, so the record built during the private years carries on.
08 — Security
Where your data sits.
Partners ask this before anything else, so it is on the page rather than in a follow-up email.
Isolated per firm
Every record is scoped to your firm. Nothing that identifies your firm is shared with other firms on the platform.
Encrypted in transit and at rest
Documents are stored with server-side encryption; database connections are TLS-only.
Owned by your firm
Your firm keeps ownership of its portfolio and documents, and can export all of it from Settings at any time. We never sell anything that identifies your firm.
Role-based access
Four roles: admin, partner, analyst and a read-only limited-partner seat. Sessions are signed and expire.
09 — Pricing
Priced for funds, not enterprises.

10 — Questions
Before you ask
It is built for investment teams at venture funds. Family offices and corporate venture arms run the same workflow and use it the same way.
You pick a plan. No card is required to start the trial and nothing is charged automatically when it ends.
Yes, and that is most of what the product monitors. Private holdings and pipeline names are tracked the same way as listed companies.
To the stored signal the claim came from. Its provenance ID opens what we captured (the text, who published it and when) with a link to the original. We do not yet keep our own copy of the source page, so a publisher’s later edit shows at that link. SEC filings do not change once filed.
Per signal, toward the company it concerns: positive, negative, neutral or mixed, judged on what the development means for that company’s investors rather than on the tone of the article. A language model scores it under a fixed rubric, and each score records the model and rubric version that produced it. It sits beside the salience score, not inside it, and a signal that names no company is left unscored rather than marked neutral.
Monitoring runs continuously. An act-now alert on a company you track goes out as soon as it lands; everything else arrives at the cadence each person picks: real-time, hourly or daily. The dashboard also carries a written digest of the last 24 hours each day, citing the signals behind it.
It stays on the platform and keeps being monitored like any other company, with the record built during its private years intact. Using its public performance as a comparable for the rest of the private book is on our roadmap; it is not in the product yet.
